Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Pollak in-bed seven-pole wiring on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now this is gonna be a really great addition if you have a fifth wheel or gooseneck. And when you plug in your trailer, instead of having to drape it over your tailgate, you'll have this wiring right in your bed, making it super easy, and it keeps all your cords inside of the bed as you're going down the road. Now this obviously you have to have a factory seven way to be able to tie into that. It's really just a jumper harness, but it makes it super convenient. It's gonna give you all the same functions as you would your normal seven poles. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Pollack 7-way in bed wiring for gooseneck and fifth wheels on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500. And attaching your fifth wheel or your gooseneck trailer. You do need to plug it into your 7-way just so you get your lights as well as your brakes. But a lot of times you're having to drape that wire over the tailgate. So having this in the bed keeps it nice and protected and clean, easily able to plug in as well and maintain all your factory functions. Now, it just ties into your factory connector. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Hopkins Endurance In-bed 5th/Wheel and Gooseneck trailer wiring harness here on our 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So an in-bed wiring harness is going to be geared towards you guys that are doing some 5th/Wheel and Gooseneck heavy duty towing. Sometimes the trailer connector for those trailers can still reach the seven-way on the bumper but that could actually run into issues if you make any tight turns and overall, it's just much better to use one mounted in the bed that we have here. It's definitely going to be a must for all you Gooseneck and 5th/Wheel guys. So this is actually a pretty unique kit, and the reason for that is this plug here is specifically designed for a factory cutout in our truck bed. Now, a lot of the other gooseneck or in-bed wiring harnesses just have that standard square connector that you drill a hole for whereas this one here, it doesn't require any drilling whatsoever because it's designed for that factory-size cut out. more

Connor: Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck trailer wiring harness here for our 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. So this is what our trailer wiring harness is going to look like installed. It's going to be the perfect match for this vehicle here, because it has the same size dummy plug that we're going to. The trailer connector is going to be the same size as the dummy plug that we need to remove. Therefore, this is the exact OEM trailer connector that's designed for this cutout here. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the seven and four pole trailer connector here for our 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500.So this trailer connector here, it's going to be an excellent option for our Chevy 3500 here. If your truck didn't come with the factory prep package and you need to tow a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer, chances are you're going to need an in-bed wiring harness. So if you don't have that, you are going to want to pick this up when you get your fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch.So this is going to be the factory-style plug that's installed in the rear bumper, as well. It's actually going to have two different types of connection points, one up here for our four-pole trailer connector. more

Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 we're going to be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install a Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with Seven Pole Plug.This what our in-bed seven pole plug looks like when it's installed. This allows us to utilize our seven pole plug on the back of our vehicle, while giving us the benefit of having a seven pole plug in the bed of our truck so when we hook up to our gooseneck or our fifth wheel, all of our wiring can stay inside.Our seven pole plug's gonna give us all the proper lighting functions to safely tow our trailer. It's gonna give us our running lights, both turn signals, and our brake lights. It's also gonna give us the ability for reverse light signal, full reverse lock out, and also allow us to run a brake controller from inside of our truck if our trailer has brakes on it.And it's gonna plug directly into the factory wiring on the back of your truck. It's gonna be constructed of a durable plastic, so we're not gonna have to worry about any weather conditions doing any harm to it. The cap is gonna be a spring-loaded cap. more

Making connecting to our 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer that much easier. It's gonna have a nice spring loaded door. So we're not gonna have to worry about losing the cap or anything like that. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install the Curt fifth wheel goose neck custom wiring harness with 7 pole connector. Part number C56070.Now, this is what you're going to get in your kit. You're going to get your seven way adaptor, the plug that plugs into your seven way adaptor. These are going to be the plugs that you run down to the bottom that plug into your existing wiring. And you're going to have four self-tapping screws to mount this on your bed.The first thing we're going to do is we're going to hook our seven way right here on the inside of the bed. We're going to drill a pilot hole, a 1/2 inch pilot hole. more

Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silvarado 3500 crew cab, we're going to install part number 41157. This is the Hopkins endurance fifth wheel and gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with a seven pole plug. First off, we need to find our location for a seven-pole connector. This is largely personal choice, but there's a nice open spot behind the inaudible 00:24 pocket in this area right here, so we're going to mount ours right here. Go ahead and center it up. Maybe line it with this plug right here. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug. Part number 41157 and we're going to need to choose a location to mount our new 7-way plug. It will be here at the driver's side rear corner of the bed. Right in this area, here, is a pretty good spot. There's plenty of room behind it, so we'll go ahead and take our two and an eighth hole saw. We'll drill a hole through the rear corner of the bed. Now that we have our hole drilled, we'll go ahead and take this 90-degree end, we're going to feed it up and over the frame and then we'll feed it in the hole that we just drilled. more
